Personality Changes On Birth Control? Posted: 06-28-05 16:40pm
I have been on different types for birth
control over the past six years. I was
wondering if anyone has experienced strong
mood changes? And if there is anything I
should know about stopping.

Ya know what? I think that I have gotten
every side effect from the pills I have
been on--- mood swings, spotting, nausea,
breast lumps, everything. But, I am not
pregnant, and that's all that matters. I
am trying really hard to just keep that in
mind, but, I absoutly hate all bc pills.
Honestly.
Sorry to be so harsh, but I do.

I've been 3 different kinds and I never
experienced changes in mood, even after
stopping. In fact, I think the pills have
improved my moods! I don't have as much
cramping, bloating, or irritability,
leaving me in a fairly pleasant mood
throughout my cycle. I do tend to get a
little more sensitive the day or two
before I start... I cry a little easier.
But I think that's normal anyway.
It all depends on the person; everyone is
different and will react differently to
medications.
