Q: Signs of Pregnancy???

Hi!

I just have a few questions, I am about 6 weeks pregnant... And I was wondering when reading all the info on other sites...

They say that your areolas will darken, (i am not getting that) the only thing that is different with my breasts is that I have a really dark greenish-blue vein (which is normally not there) that runs from where my breast start to right above my nipple..(in a big "u") on both my breast but it's darker on my left one! Is this something I should be alarmed about?

Another question? My nipples are super itchy.. Again is this normal?

Thanks to anyone who can offer some insight!

Best of luck to all!

Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy.

That's all totally normal. Veins become more prominant, or even appear out of nowhere. My nipples were itchy too, and what's worse, too sensitive to scratch!!!!!

Veins will probably stay there till after the birth, and you might even ssee some more appearing. My itching has decreased - but i'm 22 weeks now.
At least they're not too sore to give a bit of a squeeze now- although still more sensitive than normal- this is my second pregnancy, my nipples didn't stay sensitive this long last time.

Later on, the skin on your stomach might itch too, while it's stretching- itching is pretty common all the way through pregnancy.

Good luck with everything, hope you keep well and enjoy!
