Hi,
i've popped in and out of this forum, but
haven't really had my own post or anything
yet.
Thought I might tell you a bit about
myself, 'cos i'm on here more and more
these days, and alot of you guys seem to
know a bit about each other.
I'm 22 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby
(another girl, yay!!!) i'm due november
10th or 11th. My first daughter is 2 and
a half. I've been married since last
december, and we decided to try for the
2nd baby in january. Found out I was
pregnant late feb.
I turned 27 last month, and I live in
melbourne, australia, although I was born
in dublin- we emigrated when I was nearly
nine- so now i'll have two little aussies
of my own.
Can't think of anything else to say that's
not going to make me sound even more
boring !!!!!!!!! I'm fun, honestly!!!
"talk" to you soon.
Xx el.

I took ages to get this far along
i think i'm 23 weeks now- so it took at
least 23 weeks !!!!
I was lucky enough to have great common
sense advice, and some good books when I
was pregnant with my first, so i'm hoping
to be able to pass that along to other
girls.
I was completely clueless when I found out
I was pregnant- the first nappy I ever
changed was my own daughter's !!!!! She
was also the fist baby I ever held.
I always think knowledge is wasted if not
shared, and there seems to be a few girls
who could do with some clear,
understandable and realistic support on
this forum.
Also- i'm stuck at home and bored alot due
to a really dodgy back problem, so it's
win-win !!!!!!

Well yeah I suppose im lucky in the sense
that i've grown up around babies so I know
everything thats involved with having
babies and my sister had 2 recently so I
remember how hard it is and everything,
and i've changed a lot of nappies.
Which is what makes me so confident, cause
I know that no matter what, they're worth
it in the end

They definately are.
Even in the midst of some terrible sleep
dprived, broken hearted angst when you are
wondering what in the name of god made you
think you could possibly do this whole
baby thing, and whether you have managed
to give birth to the devil's child- they
look at you a certain way, or do some
little thing to make you smile.
Course, then they get sick on you.
