Q: I Like It, But Then I Dont!!!

Me n my boyfriend have been aruging for a name for our baby. He wants it to be named after him, but I really dont. He wants it to be carlos jr. And I want to name it elijah. But he thinks elijah sounds like a gurls name. But I think so. I think it sounds really cute for a boy. And like carlos, I like it, but then I dont. Bcuz a lot of people have that name alread, and thats my cousins sons name, and her boyfriends name too. Carlos is also the name of carlos's sisters husbond. I just think theres too many carlos'. Lol! Dont yall think soo? But he see's it as our first lil boy, and he thinks it sound be named after him. But I duno what do to!! Any advice???

Here there are not too many carlos' and elijah does not sound like a girls name those are my opinions
you should try a compromise

What about just eli ? (ee-lye) I think it's the "ijah" bit that might sound feminine. Eli carlos sounds nice.
There was an eli in my mother's group- he was lovely.

Or, maybe you could find a different form of carlos- like charles (which isn't great really, but there's probably other variations)

It's so hard picking a name especially one that both of you agree on for both a boy and a girl....Me and my husband finally decided on a name for both.
If it's a girl : alison nicole (nicole is after my first name but I go by nikki), -we thought about naming the girl alison lee (lee after my middle name but husband thinks that's too many l's) but if it's a boy : jacob david (david is after my husbands middle name).
I'm only 2 1/2 months pregnant so once we find out the sex of our baby well see if those are the names we we'll l stick with.

I like the name elijah for a boy...Its not a gurls name, hello, elijah wood! I like tyler phillip also
