Yes it will work..But it isn't healthy..I
am in the same boat.. I am currently
145...( I just had a baby)..And I want to
get back down to my old size 115lbs....
I wasn't always 115lbs..I went on a
starvation diet 2 years ago, before that I
was 140 lbs...It only took 1 month to lose
all that weight...
It isn't smart..But I did it anyway/..And
I am gonna do it again too.

Hey there! No I don't think that will
work at all. Starving doesn't make you
lose weight all it does is cause alot of
health problems and can be very
destructive. To lose weight you should
eat every 3 hours because that speeds up
your metabolism which burns your food
quicker and more easily and it also keeps
you healthy.
An eating disorder is something which is
more about the mental aspect of a person
and less about the losing weight.
If you have read any of the posts on the
forum you will see the people here are
very lost and very unhappy, some people
here are underweight and some are over
weight, yet we all think the same way and
its a very scary and very lonely place to
be in.
Starving yourself will not make you happy
with yourself,it just doesn't work that
way. Perhaps if you focused on the things
you are looking forward to on your
holidays, the people you will meet,
getting a tan, going to water parks, things
like that are what you should be thinking
about not about losing weight.
You are perfect the way you are, you don't
need to change the way you look to change
the way you feel. Say you to yourself
that its not so much important what weight
you are, its more important that you enjoy
yourself and focus on the good points of
the holiday and what your looking forward
to rather then what you think you should
look like.
By the way you are a good weight for your
height, so you have nothing to worry
about.
I hope you have a great holiday and write
when you get back and let us know how you
got on k
all the best

Hi there... Just so you know, starving
yourself can actually make you gain
weight, I know cause it happened to me,
(not cause I was trying to loose weight,
but because I get so busy doing stuff that
I actually forget to eat, and don't even
think about the fact that I am hungry)
anyway, I did some research on it, and
found out that if you are starving
yourself your body starts to store up all
the calories to burn later cause it
doesn't know when the next time it is
going to get food. Eat small meals 6
times a day, and your body will burn them
faster because it is not worried about
having to store stuff.
Hope this helps.

that is very true..Some people do gain
weight by starving themselves,thats why
the eithiopians have pot bellys. If iv
spelt it right..Lol
a breakfast is the most important part of
the day,i usually have something like a
banana or if you feel really hungry have
all bran or fruit and fibre..I then have 1
peice of toast and scrambled egg for lunch
inbetween youcan have some fruit or a
fibre bar. Then for dinner I have chicken
with boiled or jacket potato...Or super
noodles. Or you can have pork
chops...Chicken salad...Anything like
that. Its best to grill/oven stuff instead
of frying then you dont have to strict
yourself so much.Cutting down instead of
cutting out is healthier.Eating before bed
is a definate no no.So I restrict mysef to
not eating after 6 and just eat some fruit
at night as it is light.
Good luck

You know.. For some it does work.. For
some others it doesn't, believe me, I
tried that starvation diet, and I failed a
million times, I lost around 8 to 12 lbs,
then I binged, and ate compulsively for
the next days, and got it back, that's
even how I got started, 2 yrs ago I was
120, then I spent 3 days w/o eating, and
the rest of the month eating too much, I
didn't even know about this.. But that
how I gained 'til 143.
So you can lose that weight, but you will
still feel like you need to lose more and
more and more, it controls your mind, like
it or not.
Now, i'm trying a diet, i've lost 12 lbs
on a week, and i'm not even thinking about
failure, I started around that weight
also, I was 141, i'm 5'7 too, and now i'm
129, planning to get skinnier with diet!
Please don't do that, I felt soo much
worse when I did it.. I cried too much
wishing I could go back in time so I would
never stopped eating.
Oh!, excercise also, excercise as much as
you can, swimming is great!, run, stay
active all day, clean your room, or
whatever need to be cleaned, cuz even
housework burns cals.
Believe me, it feels great when you are
about to sleep and you are just too tired,
it feels better than great if you know you
followed your diet.
Even if you don't lose that much, keep
trying, it's such a short time, so just
try the more you can lose.
