Menopause , ovarian cancer , pregnancy ??? Posted: 06-30-05 20:49pm
My mother is 48 and hasn't had a period
since april. She is two months late. My
mom started at age 12 and thought she was
just hitting menopause but her doctor did
a test and her hormones are at a normal
level. She doesn't have the symptoms of
ovarian cancer except she did gain six
puonds in the last two months. She feels
like she has more symptoms of pregnancy
but she had her tubes tied sixteen years
ago... I am just afraid my mom might have
cancer. She has an appointment for july
12 but if it is cancer waiting that long
won't it spread. I am only 18 and I
afraid of losing my mom. What should she
do... Is it possible she has ovarian
cancer??? Help!!!!
