Are You Pregnant If You Have a Period?

Is it as heavy as it normally is? If its not much blood it could be inplantation bleeding which means you are pregnant! Good luck!

Thanks so much.... Ummm it seems kinda normal but then agian it doesn't. I am suffering severe cramps right now. Whenever I try to lay down I keep tossing and turning and I cant get to sleep. I cant eat anything. I take 2 bites of something and then im done with it I dont want anymore. And when I do finally get a full serving of something down they get worse ( the cramps). Please tell me what you think is wrong with me. My boyfriend and I would really like to know. Thanks so much

Have you taken a pregnancy test, when was your last period? And did you have any sex about 2 weeks ago. If you are pregnant and cramping you might be having a miscarriage if you are pregnant if you aren't then it's just your period. Usually you ovulate about 10-14 after your period so if you had unprotected sex during that time then you can be pregnant. But if you just had sex 2 days ago, you wouldn't be pregnant yet.

Not saying that this is what you are expriencing.. But a friend of mine did have her period through out her pregnancy with her first born (girl).

That is why she did not know she was pregnant!.. Unfortuanatly she was a teenaged mom (14) and she didnt put on very much weight, and the first time she got any sort of medical care was when she found out she was pg ... 7 months gestation!...


With her second baby (boy) she bleed untill the 5 th month...All heavy bleeding.. (as if she wasnt pregnant at all)

and her last (girl) she bleed again this time till 6 months..

I think it depens on your body.. My suggestion would be.. Get in to see a doc.. If you took a pg test and it is postitve!...

Hi.. Umm no we just had sex early july 1st and early this morning. Like really early... And im not sure what it is.... But the cramps feel like someone is stabbing me in my tummy.... No I ahve not taken a test b/c they say u have to wait 3 weeks and my last period was june 10th.. Please get back to me as soon as possible

No we also had sex early july 2nd and he finished that time too... But that time he popped my cherry b/c it had never been popped and this is what has happend since that day... I have been bleeding really bad with severe cramps but the people who have replied say im not pregnant yet that it takes awhile for it to show up so im confused please get back to me asap thanks so much

No I had lost my virginity 2 years ago. But the other times that I have had sex they never poopped my cherry so I guess that considers me a virgini still but I have had sex. And this itme did it he popped my cherry and I didn't know it until he left and went home and he called me and I told him what was going on. So im scared right now... I dont know if am pregnant or not? I mean she said that im not gonna know yet but b/c she knows im not pregnant yet that I can have a regular period. Maybe you are bleeding now because you lost your virginity. What is the longest you'll go until you get your period? That way we can figure out when you ovulated or about when you'll ovulate.

I did hear of a girl who bled like a heavy period when she lost her virginity.

Im confused! Does that mean I just now lost my virgnity? I mean I have had sex with 4 guys now and the 4th one just popped my cherry. So does that mean I just lost my virginity july 2nd? My periods irregular and I was just got off of it june 10th. But I can go for not having it for months at a time like be off for 2 months and then have it for 2 months... Its weird and im not on birth control yet either and some people say thats why its not regulated b/c im not on birth control!? But I really wanna have a baby and I really do hope I am pregnant. I really doubt you are pregnant yet. I think it is probably your period. Try going to this site (www.Peeonastick.Com) and order some opk's (ovulation prediction kits), they will pretty much tell you when you should have sex so you can get pregnant. Normally a woman can only get pregnant during 4 days of her cycle. You order the kits and follow the instructions, you can also get them at a grocery store. They will predict your ovulation time within 12 hours. Like for example, so you may have a little more info. Lets say you were regular, and had a 28 day cylce that started on june 1st, well the time to have sex would be june 10-15, and you would probably know if you are pg by the 29th. I had a sister in law who got pregnant during her irregular cycles, she did not know she was pregnant until she was 3 months along. I would really buy the opk's and the site I gave you will really sell them really cheap that way you can check for ovulation every 3-4 days. Sometimes you will know if you are ovulating because you will have cervical mucous--"cm". This discharge will look yellowish, or white, it is said that when it is thicker and looks white you are probably ovulating. If you have more question let me know, I can direct you to some great sites, and give you more info on how to know when you ovulate so you can get pregnant.

So even though he finished inside me the 2 times we had sex doesn't make a difference? I mean he said it was a 50 50 chance but we're pretty sure I am!! And I hope I am pregnant though!!

Well you have to ovulate for you to get pregnant, if you are not ovulating right now, or did not ovulate during the last 4 days you are not pregnant. Like I said try to buy the opk's, or at least a thermometer. If you start taking you temperature everyday, before you get out of bed, and chart your temperature you will be able to know exactly when you ovulate. But it is very important for you to understand that just having unprotected sex does not immediately mean you are pregnant, you have to ovulate to be pregnant. Ovulation happens when your ovaries let go of the egg, and normally that only happens once a month. The egg only lives about 24 hours. The egg must be fertilized by the sperm for you to concieve. Some women, when they are ovulating will feel cramping around where their ovaries are. Does this help you any?

Ovulations is when your ovaries, your right or left ovary release an egg into your fallopian tubes. If you want to get pregnant you have to have sex during this time, that way there will be an egg for the sperm to fertilize, thus causing conception. It is basically the most fertile time of the month. Mostly the opposite of your period.

You usually ovulate about 10-14 days after your period, you can know this for certain because most women, if they are not pregnant will get their period 14 days after ovulation. You can get pregnant during your period, but that is very rare.

So... I guess im on my period now but that means I wont ovulater until afterwards? Do u ovualte everytime before or after a period? B/c I just had my period end on june 10th and im pretty sure I ovulated then so shoulnd't I be fertile to get pregnant?
