Hey this is sorta hard to explain but here goes.

Me and my boyfriend were laying in bed and I had my stomach on his back and he said that he felt my stomach move and I put my hand on my stomach and I felt it too!!!!!
It was sort of like a flutter, almost as if I had gas but I didnt, the thing is, I didnt feel it on the inside, only the outside.

Im 14 weeks pregnant, any suggestions?

It could very well be your baby moving, generally you feel movement around your 4 or 5th month, and you are just past your 3rd trimester. It could have been gas, and it could have been baby. It's different for every woman, especially depending on how big the baby is and how small you are. I believe the baby's movements are alot like gas.

And does it matter that I felt it on the outside and not the inside?

Hmmm..
Jeez- you're keen aren't you !!!!
You poor thing, it takes ages for anything exciting to happen after the pregnancy test come back positive does'nt it. It's not fair, 'cos you can't think about anything else either !!

I would doubt it's the baby- but i'm not an expert.
I felt movement this time (my 2nd pregnancy) at about 14 weeks, but my husband hasn't been able to feel anything 'till last week-when I was 22 weeks along.

I've been able to feel my pulse in my tummy, just near my belly button since I was very thin, about 3 1/2 years ago- but only from the outside.
Maybe that's what you can feel if you're pretty slim too. It could be gas too.
I'd say it's possible that you could feel some fluttering this early, but it's not very likely anyone would be able to feel it from the outside for a little while yet.

It'll happen.
Eventually.
