Hello ladies :p
i beleive my cousin alannah has signed up
here and although she may read this I
really want to ask about some decisions
she is making and how I should advise her.
I have told her I was going to post and
she gave me the go ahead. So here I go.
First she is 16 and a senior in
highschool, very bright girl and i'm very
proud of her. She will definitely be
accepted to university this year. At the
moment she thinks she *may* be pregnant
and wouldn't mind at all having a child.
Now on one hand I don't want to preach and
tell her all the bad things about
motherhood however on the other hand I
think she *might* want to wait. However
she has always been very mature, has a
loving boyfriend of over 2 years whom our
family loves, and her parents are ready to
help her take on the responsability of a
child. I truly think that she is just as
ready as even I am but I don't want to
mislead her. What do you all think I
should do/say?

She sounds very intellegent and its not
unheard of to be a mom and go to a
university! If she is pregnant now, give
her your best and your support and tell
her not to give up on going to college!
If she isn't pregnant, then maybe preach
that she not have sex or practice safer
sex, unless she wants to toat a tot around
campus!! I am sure that you will give her
a wonderful talk as you are great at that
sort of thing and wonderful with
support!!
Much love
