I started birth control about 3 weex ago.
On a sunday when I started my period. I
geuss I had break through bleeding or
spotting becuase I bled for 15 days. Now
I am on my second sugar pill and styll
havent got my period. I was wondering if
I mite miss a period because I bled for so
long. Or if it will come later...
Or does the spotting even matter??

It's possible you could miss it.. Or that
it will be very light until your body
adjusts to the pills. I normally
wouldn't get my period until at least the
3rd day of sugar pills though.. So you
aren't late yet.

I think its most likely you just getting
used to the pills, as long as your taking
it everyday at the same time, youll get
used to it a lot better. Im sure your
fine if your really concerned about being
pregnant take a test, but otherwise I
think its just the birth control. : )

I have been on bc for a year and a half
now. I had been on them for 4 years
previously. Anyway, sometimes I start my
period on the second day of the
non-hormone pills and sometimes it's on
fourth day. It all depends on what my
body decides to do that month. :)
i wouldn't worry. In some cases, you can
even stop having periods. I had a friend
on yasmin and after 6 months, her periods
stopped. But if that bothers you, ask
your doctor about switching brands. What
kind do you use? I am on ortho-tricyclen
lo. I love them.
