Confused About Late Periods Posted: 07-05-05 09:27am
Hey all--
i was just confused....When we were
fooling around, my boyfriend put his penis
inside of me for 2 seconds because of the
spur of the moment... But he wasn't even
close to climaxing. Usually I have my
periods at the end of the month or early
the next (1st or 2nd).. But now its the
5th and it still isn't here. I'm 16 and
I was stupid to do anything, but i'm
extremely paranoid and panicky now....
Should I be pregnant? Is it normal for a
16 yr old to have a late period...And what
exactly is a late period? How long after
the expected date of my period do I wait
before I classify it as "late"? I hope
i'm not pregnant or anything... When he
did it, I think it was around the
15th-20th of june.... So 2-3 weeks after
conception (if that did happen) I should
be having symptoms.... I have sore
breasts and achey feeling in my lower
abdomen but those are both signs of an
upcoming period for me.

You should take a pregnancy test, because
if you did have sex around the 15th and he
had some precum come out you may very well
be pregnant now. I think you can go
ahead and classify your period as late.
Try the test and if it is negative wait a
several days more for your period, if you
still don't get it try another test.

Thanks. I will try that-- is it highly
likely im pregnant even if we didnt
actually have sex?

If he put his penis inside, yes. There
is a possibility you are pregnant.

That sucks...I guess i'll wait a bit
longer, then get a test.
