Anyone get a sharp pain now and then that
feels like its the heart or surrounding
area, ive been having it for around
16weeks the muscles in my left side of
chest also feel tender now and then, and
all tests on my heart say its fine, also
get alot of rumbling in the left of my
chest sometimes freaks me out.

Might be heartburn, a type of indigestion,
can be very painful

It doesnt feel like heartburn, just like a
stabbing pain in left side of chest, all
ecg's, blood tests, and echo of the heart
have come back fine
Hi, new to this forum, and just wanted to
tell a little about me. I have been
dealing with anxiet for 4 years now. Just
recently had my third child and since then
my anxiety has gotten worse. I was having
more attacks and symptons of dizziness,
shortness of breath, feeling you know
"weird", worrying constantly something is
wrong with my health and am dying. I went
to the doc and he put me on paxil. Made
me feel worse. Now I am taking effexor
150mg a day and klonopin for the days when
I feel really yukky.
Recently, I have been getting these sharp
stabbing like pains in the left side of my
chest. They only last for a few seconds,
but it seems like it is happening several
times a day.
Is this all really just anxiety? Or
something else? Pulled musle from
carrying car seat and baby maybe? What do
you think?
Anybody else on effexor?
I am thinking it is not making me feel as
good as I can feel.
Help.

When all the results are ok then it might
be some gastric problem. Try to eat
healthy food and take up some exercises to
avoid this.

The sharp pains around the chest area may
be due to gas pain. It is often
accompanied by bloating too.
When I was pregnant I had heart
palpitations and I had to wear a heart
monitor for 2 days where they discovered
that I had skipped beats which is
supposedly totally normal and a lot of
people have them they just don't know it.
They said the palps were from prenancy,
although I still get them even now. I
also had an electrocardiogram done which
came back all normal so I am guessing
(more like hoping) there is nothing wrong
with my heart, but it is just my mind
getting the best of me or pulled muscle or
something?

do not worry it is probally heartburn
cause I have heartburn and I am 2 months
preg do not worry.
