Hi I just started the patch june 25, 2005
(the same day my period started). Ok july
2, 2005 I put on the second patch. I have
unprotected sex that same day july 2,
2005. But i'm scared beacause I don't if
i'm pregnant or not. I won't get my
period until the next 3 weeks . I think
but in the box it said if u start the
patch within the first 24hours of your
period u don't need a back. Please help
me i'm scared and don't know what to do.

Well, I don't know much about the patch,
but I thought with any kind of birth
control for the first 1-3 months you
should use a back-up method. But like I
said, I dont know about the patch, so you
might be ok if the packet says you should
be. Your best way to find out would be
either calling your doctor and asking, or
waiting for 3 weeks to see if your period
comes. Sorry... Wish I could be more
help.

Yeah I am on the patch also and my box
says you are supposed to use a back up
method for the first 1 to 3 months. But I
had unprotected sex the day after I was on
it and I didnt get pregnant. But
everyones different.
