Yasmin... Please Help
Posted: 07-07-05 08:38am

Hi everyone. I am 17 and just started taking yasmin b.C. There are lots of side effects I am really nervous about and after 2 1/2 weeks I am seriously thinking about getting off the pill.

I am extremely anemic right now (i found out when I went the the gyn.). I am concerned with all of the blood I have been loosing. I have had my period for 12 straight days with no signs of stopping. My periods used to be only 5 or 6 days. I talked to the doctor and he said it was normal but do tyou think it is going to get better?

Also I have been really dizzy whenever I stand up and hardly want to eat. I used to get dizzy a lot, bow I know because of my extremely low iron count, but that is a side effect of bc right??? I ride horses and I am scared I will get dizzy and maybe pass out if I am training them like I do. Will it last for much longer??

Also... I have always had really fine hair. Like practically nothing, but it is my favorite thing about me. Its red and long and gorgeous, but I was washing my hair and it just wouldnt stop falling out. I seriously started crying. It falls out a lot but not like this. I can't afford to loose much more of it, I can't imagine loosing much more of it. My mom when she was younger stopped taking bc because of hair loss. Should i? Will it stop and come back if I keep taking it? :(

i really want to keep taking it because of the period control and breast enlargment (which I have seen already), and of course the actual pregnancy issue. What should I do. Please help.
