Fused Labia Equals Scarring?
Posted: 07-08-05 20:10pm

At my first check-up when I was 6 weeks, the doctor said I had fused labia. He told my mom to use vaseline to soften up the lips, and spread them apart. Until I was four my mother did this every few months. I can remember the pot of vaseline sitting on the toilet, and crying when she pulled my labia apart.
I was 13 when I noticed that my labia were slightly uneven. I didn’t bother me at the time because I thought it was normal. But as I got older my labia became quite uneven and large. I am wondering if the pulling apart of the labia when I was a baby could have resulted in scarring which affected the way my labia developed. I know that few women have “perfect” labia’s. But I don't think that the pulling had no effect on my development.

Most men's balls hang uneven, their dicks bend left or right or curl up or down...So don't fret that one lip is different than another
if it really bothers you the vain of ca get a lip clip...Ha! No kidding

Im not fretting that my labia are uneven. Personally, I don't mind the way it looks. I was just wondering if scaring from the tearing apart of the labia caused visable damage to them.
