I'm on my first packet of yasmin. I'm coming up on my first week of placebo pills or whatever you'd call them. When should I expect to start my period? Directly after I start taking the fake pills...Days after....? I have a vacation planned for 12 days after I stop taking the regular pills. Will my period be gone by then? It says in the instruction packet that I will start my period a day or two after I take the placebos, but is this actually the case? I'd be really bummed if i'm not done by the time my vacation comes around. Any ideas?

I end my "real" pills on a saturday and my period comes on wednesday at 4:30. It just all depends on your cycle. You'll have it down like clockwork after a month or two of when you'll expect your period and how long it will be.
