My husband (and many of his family members) have a dental condition where the teeth are not strong (and sometimes decay). We have heard several different speculations on why this ccurs-lack of enamel, not enough calcium. My husband and his family have had their teeth capped to solve this problem. I am afraid this condition my be passed on to our children since this seems to be a very dominate trait in their family (my teeth are in great condition). Is there anything I can do during my pregnancy to help prevent this condtion from passing on? Any suggestions are much appreciated!
