I'm probably posting this in the wrong forum but I thought it might get answered quicker here. First off, I know i'm not pregnant because I haven't missed any periods. But for the last month and a half or so i've been feeling off. Last month my period was just over a week late (sometimes its a couple days like 2 or 3 but never a week) and when I did get it wasn't that heavy and didn't last very long like 3-4 days when it usually lasts 5, but I just thought nothing of it really because there had recently been a death and I just thought it was due to stress. This month my period was again 5 days late and lasted like 8 days which is totally not normal. It wasn't all that heavy either but it would slow down to almost nothing and then start again and then stop and then start again, it felt like it was going to go on forever. I've been having odd feelings in my stomach too, kind of like strange twinges (kind of feels like something is knotting although its not usually painful) either right in my lower stomach area or on my right side. I sometimes feel nauseous which comes at weird times like when i'm sleeping i'll wake up and suddenly feel like i'm going to be sick, and I get the odd dizzy spell not very often though and today my back started killing me at work for no apparent reason. I can't get into see the doctor for almost a month because the office here is understaffed at the moment and overbooked  so until then i'm left wondering whats wrong with me, or even if there is anything wrong at all. I'm not on any form of birth control so I know its not anything like that messing me up.

Anyway I was just curious if anyone else has ever gone through something like this before and if so what it was. Any opinions/thoughts/ideas are greatly welcomed and appreciated.

It could be a cyst on one or both ovaries.

Okay say it is a cyst. Since I can't get to the docs for awhile and it goes undiagnosed and untreated what could happen? And how could I have gotten the cyst anyway. I mean is it just something that happens or is it caused by something I may have done or not done?

Cyst just happen. They are really painful...U can go to the er if u cant get into your doctors and they can tell you if u have one and give u medicine for it, and then tell you to follow up with ur doctor...Thats how they did me cause mine started on a weekend and I couldnt see the doctor for a few weeks. Have you called your doctor and told them it was really important and they couldnt like work you in or anything?

Well, if they're really painful then I doubt thats what it is cause i'm not in any kind of pain. Its just these strange twinges which aren't painful at all they just feel weird. And yes I did call the office and ask them if there was any way I could get in earlier and basically they told me unless I was on my death bed there was no way  but thanks for your help.
