Drinking While Pregnant

I have two questions:
1)i want to know do women ask their doctors if they can have alcohol while pregnant and
2) can some women stop drinking while they are pregnant?
Are there any professionals to answer these questions?

Im not a professional but I do know that you should not drink or smoke when pregnant. Please dont! Any doc will tell you not to. It is very unhealthy. It can cause birth defects and other problems. I would not reccomend anyone having alchohol while pregnant.

I heard that it is okay to have a glass of red wine maybe once a month.

I think a glass of wine once a blue moon is fine.. My girlfriend had a glass of red wine once a month or so and caleb turned out just wonderful... Just do not over do it and be very careful..
