My Ex May Be Schitzophrenic/delusional Posted: 07-12-05 23:08pm
Could my ex husband be suffering from
schitzophrenic/delusional tendencies?
His girlfriend is able to fully support
him up until recently (believe me, I don't
mind), and he spends all his time on the
internet and phone, saying he's making
deals with movie agents and fight
promoters. He tells us about famous
people he deals with, such as don king,
and slyvester stallone's agent. He has
(he thinks) reasonable explanations for
why he's not getting paid for all this
wheeling-dealing, and I honestly don't
think he worries about that; his needs are
getting met by someone paying attention to
him. I do think the people he converses
with are real people, but are internet con
artists, but his natural logic is not
working. Also, his mother suffered from
severe schitzophrenia, she constantly held
conversations with herself, saying god
talked to her. By the way, my ex felt
this behavior was perfectly normal.
Anyway, my kids want to know if they
should intervene at this point? :?:
