Ortho Evra Patch Posted: 07-13-05 09:00am
I have used the patch for the better part
of a year now but I have skipped using it
for the last two months. I am going on a
cruise next week and my period is
scheduled to come during my vacation. I
wanted to know if I started using the
patch now (before my cycle) would that
prevent my cycle from coming? I realize
the threat of pregnancy and will use a
back up method but I just don't want my
cycle to come.

I am also on the patch and I have used it
to skip my period. I would say start it a
little before you go on your cruise
because you still may bleed for a couple
days.

yeah I did and I woke up today feeling
period "symptoms." I hope if it does come
it is only for a few days because I put a
new patch on wed.
