A friend of mine is 7 1/2 months pregnant
and has been smoking pot the whole time.
I'm very concerned for the baby. I,
myself, am not a pot smoker and it makes
me very upset to know she does this.
What affects does pot smoke have on babies
that are under developed? Thanks....

Oh no! It is not good to smoke. I wish
you could report it. If the doc knows and
she gets tested, then social services come
in. Please do something. The child can
have birth defects or be slow. My
neighbor did that with all 3 of her kids
and max got held back in kindergarten,
jeni doesnt talk and she is an year and 5
months, savanah doesnt smile and shes 7
months. It has big effects on them.
Please do something for the baby.

I would agree with the previous post.
The effects on the baby can be harmful.
Low birth weight, possible facial effects.
If nething it would be too late to
actually do something. 7.5 months is a
long time into a pregnancy, especially
during the critical period. I would just
make sure the baby is brought up in a good
environment.
