I am 25 and in a long term relationship, we have a great sex life but I have a little problem.

When I orgasm, I often get a deep dull headache. Its gets worse a week or so before im due to come on my periods.

Anybody else have any experience of this, anybody know what causes it and how to help?

:(

Sounds like the increase in your blood pressure may be doing it. I've had that before but I take anti inflammatory meds and ibuprofen like crazy (i know, that's really bad but i'll take long term damage over immediate pain). Anyway, ibuprofen always kicked it for me and my Dr. Suggested the same. . That it was blood pressure. Have yours checked the next time you go in for a checkup.

I have experienced the same thing. It started happening after I had my baby a couple of years ago. It seemed to have stopped a couple of months ago. I never asked the doctor about it though. I was too embarassed to ask. :0)

I have my blood pressure checked on a regular basis, at the gym I go to and family planning. It has always been fine!

It doesn't usually last long but then again I usually go to sleep afterwards.
