Hey all, i've just recently found out i'm pregnant and i've got a few questions.
Before I knew I was pregnant (i'm 6 weeks) I carried my nephew (he's 4 years old) a short while at the 4th of july fireworks. Then previous to that I was on vacation, and june 28th we were fishing and I fell and landed flat on my stomach...Is any of this harmful to my baby? I went to the doctor this past tuesday and (i completely spaced all the questions I had wanted to ask :( ) she didn't say anything to me about any problems I was having, she said things seemed to be going fine. I gained 3 lbs from july 5 to july 12, and my stomach is starting to itch...So my syptoms continue, this is a good sign...Right? I haven't been sick at all really, but the past few days after I get out of bed I feel nausiated (sp) but have yet to throw up. Any my poor boobs still hurt! Lol so if anyone would like to comment on this, i'd really appreciate. Thanks for time all!

Everything you describe sounds fine, i've also tripped a couple of times.

I actually read that in the first couple of months the baby is well protected so I wouldnt worry too much.

Im 19 and I was pregnant at 18 and the baby died when I was 9 weeks along.

But now im 15 weeks pregnant and doing well,
my stomach and boobs itch all the time, but its just streching that makes it itch.
I used to feel nauseas all the time too, but I only threw up 4 times, so just consider yourself lucky :p

hope this helps

No Joke! I Tell No Lies!!!
When my mom was pregnant with me, 7 months... *i love this story*

she was out shopping, and as she was headed for a steep hill (going down) she tripped, landed face down(belly down)...

She got up, continued on her way... When she got home she told my dad what happened..He freaked and rushed her to the hospital.. There they hooked her up to the machines after she told them she hadnt felt me move in a while, and guess what I was fine!.. Still sleeping like nothing even happened!... Not saying all falls are okay.. But baby is way more protected that we all think!....

Another that has become a family joke now.. My sis twice pregnant.. Both times fell, once on ice in winter.. (a week later she found out she was pregant with her girl *now two years old*) and then down a flight of stairs ( again found out not to long after that, she was expecting her son *due this oct!)

recently, while out shopping with my sis, I fell down a flight of stairs, so my sis joked.. "hey you should take a pg test, you might be pregnant!"
hahaha.. We laughed.. I went home that night figured what do I have to loose...

Hahahaha.. I am due in late feb!...

Sorry thought that was a funny story to share with you all!!!

When my sister was pregnant with her first she fell on ice during the winter and also got into 2 car accidents...One in which the air bag went off....She was around 4-5 months then...And the baby is fine...He is now 2 years old.

I was in a fender bender in january when I was 6 months....And the stirring wheel jammed right in my gut....Nothing happened...He was born 3 months later perfect and beautiful. I was on ice and my 4 runner has stupid abs brakes and wouldn't stop. I plowed right into the back of some beotch. I didn't do any damage to her at all...But her trailer hitch went right threw the front of my grill.......That sucked~!~~ anyways...She said I cracked her bumper..But I didn't..And I ended up paying or a new paint job on the back end of her car.

I played basketball until I was 6-7 months...I am sure I might have got hit at some point.

The little baby is surrounded in aminotic fluid, and it very comfortable in there. It would have to take some blow to the belly to hurt it...And I think you would have to be like further along too,... Between 7-9 months.

Being so early like you are...There is tons of fliud protecting it...And it is still quite low in your body. I wouldn't worry about it too much
