I have been having an extremely tiring
oreal for the past month.
Facts: june13- threw up ( on pill) during
that nxt week had sex unprotected
june 24th: started spotting, though it was
normal period but odd cos only lasted 2
days and was light.. Normally heavy
bleeder.
July 1st- went to doc cos I had been
having persis nausea and stomach pains...
He sent me to hosp to get testing for
appendicitis after he had done a urine
hcg. Nurse at hosp got me to do another
wee hcg which again was neg. The doc at
hosp that consultd me asked few questions(
not many) pressed my tummy and told me I
had gastritis. The nurse looked extremely
worried with this and when dr left she
said if it was still persisting after med.
To please come back in 3 day.
jul 4th- back to hosp they gave me a blood
hcg test- negative
jul 5- saw my gp and she sent me for
ultrasound- nothing unusual. Inside
fine.
Jul 8th- back to first doc( same
clinic..Consults wid my gp) who gave me
anutha preg test (blood)
jul 11- started light spotting at 8pm-
12am bleeding was heavier so a rang mum
distressed
jul 12- went back to dr at 11am my
bleeding was getting heavier. My blood
tests from the 8th showed neg. He sent me
back to hosp to consult a gyn. At hosp
started getting sharp brief lower abdo
pains then feelings like I needed to push.
My bleeding by this stage was bright
red... Not like a norm period.
Today- bleeding has stopped, got some more
sherp pains yest. My gp said yest that
cos of my hcg test it is imposs that I was
preg and poss it was phantom preg...I hate
her!
My symptoms: rapidly increasing tummy
but not eating much, huge breasts and
nipples, nausea, appetite change...Weird
cravings, frequency in urination, mood
swing and over emotional... Tiredness
from not doing much.
Please someone shed some light!!!!!!!

I am really saddened to find that no one
has the compassion or wisdom to even
attempt to shed some light... Thankfully
I am intelligent enough at 23 to do
further research and find some other
answers... Im really glad that none of
you regular users frequent the depression
site as who knows if I had used this a few
months ago and begged for help where I may
be.
Thanks for the compassion... Hope you all
enjoy your sleep at nite!
Even I try and help the other people on
here that are in need... Even if I dont
totally understand, it can be comforting
to read any response!
P.S no I have established that I am not
crazy and that I was pregnant and did
miscarry and that in some cases womens hcg
levels do not register on tests until
further in their pregnancies... Thought
that may be some handy info for whoever
may need it.

I am sorry to hear that no one replied to
your posting.
I am actually experiencing the exact same
thing you are, I have also had 2 pregnacy
tests also indicating that I am not
preganant.
I am still experiencing light bleeding and
it got bad last night so I went to the
emergency room at the hospital cause I was
scared. I spent 2 hours there, the test
was negative, the doctor at the er told me
that I could be in the early stages of
pregnancy and that is propbably why they
can't detect anything. I am getting
nauseas but not enough to want to throw
up.
I had my menzies 2 weeks ago , so the
spotting scares me. The cramps come and
go sometimes with sharp blasts to the
lowest part of my abdomen.
My last 2 periods were late about a week
off, and the bleeding on both periods
persisted for about one week but was
heavier than normal with big blood clots,
or how doctors prefer to call them tissue.
My symtoms come and go throughout the day.
I am feelingquite depressed cause no one
knows what is going on. I wish I knew
just to settle my nerves and know I am not
crazy.
I get lower back pain so bad it hurts to
bend down to put shoes on.
I have an appointment with my gp at the
end of the week for a female exam.I also
have had a loss of appetite.
Is there any way to detect whether someone
has been pregnant but just miscarrying?

How Did You Discover You Were Miscarrying

I was reading your forum and read the
other half of it.
How did you discover that you were
actually pregnant and mis-carrying?
Or if anyone else reads this can your shed
some light on the matter.
Since some womens hcg levels are
undetected in the early stages of
pregnancy, normally how early into a
pregancy should a pregnancy test read hcg
levels?
Why do some hcg levels read in some woman
and others not at all?

Sorry its taken so long to reply I have
just re-connected to the net.
When I was mis-carrying I lost more blood
than a normal period, and sharp abdominal
pains, the blood is also brite red also
not in all cases, but in my case, I felt
like I needed to poo, but just push in a
different area.
I dont know why some women dont show hcg
early,i gues coz every womans body is
different, I hope everything is going ok
take care of yourself xo

When I was reading the most recent post..I
could completely relate.. But my
situation being slightly different.. I
felt the same pressure.. Descibed by
feeling the urge to push.. And I too lost
a tremendous amount of blood.I ended up
having to stay over in the emergency
room..And the next morning they sent me to
see my ob doctor.. And she did an
ultrasound and everything was normal..The
heartrate was normal and all the vitals
were normal.. But they couldn't exactly
tell me what was wrong.. Or what
happened.. I was just wondering if this
has happened to anyone..
Update also: i've since had 2 doctor's
appts. And both have been fine.. The
baby is healthy and growing.. N i'm still
confused

So I had my pelvic exam today 2 days
after going to the er and they said my
cervix is normal and they checked my
ovaries. My doctor sz that my cervix is
soft and indication that I am either still
pregnant or that I have miscarried. They
gave me another pregnancy test which came
back negative. So I am scheduled for an
ultrasound coming up monday, to reveal the
cause for the cramps and the spotting and
lower back pain.
My doctor believes that I am possibly
miscarrying or possibly pregnant but to
early to tell.
Are any of you experiencing a soft cervix
aswell?
I am also having quite a bit of discharge
more than the norm but today I have no
spotting.
I am still experiencing dizziness and
nausea.

Did the tests come back inconclusive at
first?

It was so lovely to read both replys. I
truly hope from the bottom of my heart
that you are both well and that babies are
safe. It has been quite a stressful and
emotional time for me and my partner.
Aside from the miscarriage we have had to
move house.. My partner is a head chef so
he works 55+hours a week.. Im in $1000
debt just from standard bills and moving
costs and cannot find a job to help pay it
back!! Aaaaaahhhhhhhh sometimes I just
feel like screaming!!! Im just praying to
god every night to just give me one small
ray of light to help me through each day
until things start looking up for me....
Hopefully this will be sooner than
later...Im getting very tired! Im also
annoyed because I cant fit into any of my
old clothes as I am still carrying some
weight from being pregnant...That sux
also. I am starting some voluntary work
on fridays just to keep me social and from
going crazy..Cant wait till friday!!
Again thanks for the response it has been
my ray of light for today. Xo
if you want to check out one of my hobbies
which is poetry go to the married again
forum and read under wedding song, hope
you enjoy xoxxo

I just wanted to say--if it's ectopic preg
it may never show the hcg in the urine
test, and in the blood test: although less
common(to not show it) it might not show
it either.
Ectopic meaning anywhere outside of
uterus. My daughter in law is pregnant
right now one is in the uterus and one is
on the ovary. 1 in 10,000
pregnancies.
In her case it did show the hcg and from
what I have gatheered it was higher than
normal for baby in that week gestation.
Hence 2 babies???
Still not understanding too much about it
though

Miscarried

Well I found out yesterday that I have
miscarried for sure. I have been really
down about the whole thing but tomorrow I
am finally going back to work.
Leah I am sorry to hear about your
situation but things should get better for
you. I am glad to hear you will be
surrounding yourself with people. It is
very important.
Well the technician who performed my
ultrasound was incredibly rude. I was
just crying in the car on the way back
home. She didn't even say a single thing
to me she just said she didn't see
anything and not to worry about it. How
can I not? She just had such a bad case
of bed side manners. Well I had to drink
a lot of water before the exam and I was
just dyng to go to the washroom. When she
was performing the ultrasound she was
pressing on my tummy so hard it was
awful.
I am still having cramps and the dizziness
comes and goes. My friend who has also
gone through a miscarriage , told me its
just my body trying to get back to
normal.
Tomorrow I have a follow-up doctors visit,
so I don't now what will happen
take care leah and kate.

They havent called back on my u/s yet, but
I seen the "corpus luteum"
that is the condition in your ovaries when
the egg gets fertilized. If no
fertilization it goes away with period 14
days later. I ovulated last time on july
8-12. I have middle pains every time for
5 days.
