At Last....

My boyfriend and I have finally taken the plunge and decided to try for a baby. At first, I was so excited, but now reality is starting to kick in....And I am thinking of all the changes / what if's that come with this big decision.

I have been with my bf for 2 1/2 years now, and I know he is the one. I'm 30 (and keep reminding him that my biological clock is ticking lol) and he is 35 (he ain't getting any younger either). So, we have decided to see what happens.

There are two...Actually three things on my mind. Firstly, we aren't married. I don't see this as an issue for other people and don't have any views on other people having children out of marriage, but my parents won't be happy even though my mum has said she's just looking forward to having grandchildren....I think my dad will worry that we aren't properly committed to each other.

The second thing is that we rent....Another thing that my parents aren't too happy about....No committment again.

The final issue is that we run our own company, and I work 6 1/2 days a week. Is it possible to bring up a family whilst working this hard!!!!

I would appreciate any personal experiences so that I may have some idea of what I will be up against.

I look forward to hearing from anyone.

Im not really sure if you can jugle work that busy with children..
Maybe u should try and hire someone to take over for a bit at work. Cause parenthood is a fulltime job.

Also after you have a baby, u can hire a baby sitter, a nice and good one. Then go back to work. Or make a different shift for yourself at your business.

Children is a hard job, but its worth it... Im about to become an aunt, my sister is 7 months. Shes not marrying her ex cause hes violent. And not fitted to raise himself let alone a child.
U will have to take care of your babies for 18 years, just make sure your ready for that rightnow, in this time in your life. Cause children deserve the world! They deserve happiness, and love, and care! They deserve everything!!!!!!!
