I have had two miscarriges since december 2004, the first miscarriage was very painful and the bleeding lasted about a week and a half, however my second miscarriage last only three days, it has only been a month, but I am still waiting for my period to return, I didnt have to wait that long for a period after my last miscarriage. The dr has told me to wait until I get at least one period before trying again and my husband and I are eager to try again, crossing my fingers that it will work out this time. I was just wondering if anyone has had similar experience, and approx how long they waited before trying again and succeeding

Are you under some stress? That can cause a missed period...Take things easy and one day at a time.

God does things for a reason and maybe this just isn't the time for you two to have a baby yet.

Good luck!!

Well we already have a son, my pregnancy when fine with him, although I gained alot of weight, other then that things were fine.

August 1st 04 was the first day of my last period, I though for months that I was pg, it was not unil late november that I got a positive result on a pg test at the dr 3 months after my last period, then 3 days before christmas I miscarried, dr told me because of the timming I may not have been really pg, they did and altrasound and the sac was empty, he told me that it may have produced enought to give me a positive result but not enough for the baby to grow, that miscarriage was very painful.

My periods got back to normal and 6 months later(june 06) I started having symptoms peeing lots, sore boobs, ect, I waited, I was trying so I thought that it was just my body playing tricks on me, I was out one day and decided to buy a hpt, thought to myself it is going to be negative, but did it anyhow I was so excited that I couldnt even read the stick I had my mom do it lol and she says to me what does it mean when there is two lines, I could not have been happier.

Then about 3 days later I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a mucas discharge and a tiny bit of blood in it (sorry for being so graphic) went to the dr he said not to worry, so I let it go, 2 days after that I was at work and it happened again when I was at work, so I went to the hospital and the dr said not to worry too but if the bleeding got worse or I got more pain to go back, the next day there was more blood, so I went back and they told me there was nothing they could do fore me I i just had to go home and see what was going to happen, I miscarried that day but it was much better then my last one pain wise and time wise, didnt last as long and I got a regular period (well somewhat) I got a regular flow exactly 5 weeks later to the day (july 19 I started) it was like a normal cycle, so I think I am going to wait for another cycle and see what happens and I am going to try again.

I really want my 4 year old son to have a sibiling, I dont want them to be to far apart in age.

Anyway that is my store sorry to make it so long, ty everyone for you support and advice
