Should I See a Doctor.
Posted: 07-20-05 06:24am

I think I have a water infection.. I need to pee constantly and it burns, I have also had pains in my bladder area.

I dont really want to see a doctor, is it necessary to see a doctor? Or will it go away by itself.

Thanks

Go See a Doctor

It sounds like you have a bladder infection, and you most definately need to go see a doctor asap. If you let a bladder infection go untreated, the infection can spread to your kidneys, which can be a life-threatening situation. I know from experience that going to the doctor for a bladder infection can be a pain (i should know, I have to go 5 to 6 times a year), but it's essential.

A friend of mine ignored a bladder infection and wound up in the hospital for a month with a severe kidney infection. The infection was so severe it ate a hole through one of her kidneys. She has recovered but the take home message is never play around with your health, especially when complications such as these are possible.

Hope you feel better.
