I'm 27, and would like to have kids
someday, but no plans to yet... But I
want a tummy tuck now. Anyone experienced
a tummy tuck before pregnancy, or heard of
any complications or feedback from anyone
who has?

Hi,
i am 2 weeks post op from a full tummy
tuck. I have 2 kids and I am done having
kids. The results are so worth it, I have
a flat tummy and my stretch marks are all
gone. If I were you I would wait until
you are done with kids. You are young and
dont want to waste the money and then go
on and have kids a few years from now and
it was a waste. Unless you have lost a
significant amount of weight or have tons
of stretch marks my opinion is to wait.
My plastic surgeon told me that many women
have tummy tucks then go on to have kids
years later and he said that it will just
go back to the way it was. You can have a
tummy tuck, but just plan on at least 90%
of what you have got now to come back
after you have kids in years to come. My
question to you is are you or were you
overweight and have excess skin? I am 34
years old and have waited a long time to
have it done, but I wont have anymore
kids, so you need to decide what is right
for you right now in your life, talk to
some plastic surgeons and see what they
have to say. But personally I would wait,
it will be well worth it to wait until you
have kids. Write back.
