Brown Discharge 1 Day After Intercourse Posted: 07-20-05 15:08pm
I've been experiencing a brown discharge
that started one day after I had
intercourse for the first time. It's
lasted so far 4 days. I'm wondering what
could be the cause of this and how to get
rid of it? Perhaps it is old blood that
was shaken loose? I dont think im
pregnant because we were safe and we didnt
do it for more than a minute or so.
Thanks

Was it very rough? Or was it your first
time? If so this could just be blood from
the intercourse itself. Girls often bleed
for their first time. I wouldn't worry
about it but if it doesnt stop within a
few days get your doctor to check it out,
just to be sure. You could have damaged
something.

How long ago did you have sex? And hold
long ago was your last period? And yes old
blood is a brown colour. If it was fresh
it would be bright red.

It was about 5 days ago now and the
discharge came the day after. My last
period was probably about 3 weeks or so
ago...So its almost about due but not
quite.

Then i'd say it is just blood from the
intercourse, or the beginning of your
period. The sex could have triggered your
period to come a bit earlier, as it was
only your first time, especially if your
periods are ever irregular. If this lasts
longer than a refular period, see your
doctor.
