Yes if the condom broke and your
girlfriend isn't taking any birthcontrol
then she could be pregnant. Why didn't
you get the morning after pill or
something? If she misses her next period
then tell her to take a pregnancy test.
And honestly, no offence or anything, but
why are you kids having sex in the first
place. Ofcourse you arent ready to be
parents so you should wait until you are
more responsible to have sex. If you are
going to continue to have sex get her on
the pill atleast.

there so she dont have a babie, she dont
have no birth control, she talked to her
mom and she said that she'll be fine becuz
she had 25 days untill her period and the
egg wouldnt be ready to be furtilized, but
if this fails, what can we do, I dont want
a baby, u dont beleave the stress im
under, im 14 :'(

She tells her mom about it!? Its good
that they have a close enough relationship
. Like is aid tell your gf to speak to
her mum about birth control. That way you
wont have to worry like this in the
future. Also if she is pregnant you cant
do much about it. Just get an abortion I
guess? Theres lots to think about with
that. Did it happen within the past 48
hours? If it did you can get the morning
after pill and she wont get pregnant at
all.

No pepto bismo isn't going to end a
pregnancy that's rediculous. Yes there a
woman doesnt ovulate until about day 10 of
her cycle, but she can still get pregnant
at anytime, strange things happen.

If she was still 25 days from her next
period then i'd say she just ended her
last one, (if i'm wrong correct me) and
its unlikey shes pregnant. I mean its not
impossible but the chances are slim since
you had sex so soon after her period was
over. Usually on a typical 28 day cycle a
woman will ovulate 10-14 days after their
last period (meaning that during ovulation
is the highest chance of getting pregnant)
so I doubt you have anything to worry
about. Try not to stress about it cause
stress could cause her period to be late.
Good luck.

Just know that anytime you have sex, you
can get pregnant. It's a good thing that
you guys did use protection. Also, if you
look at the direction to putting on a
condom, there a several steps that most
people don't even think of. Condoms will
slip, or break from time to time, but
usually if the directions were followed,
like squeazing the air out and following
appropriate measures, you should be fine.
And with being so young, her body may not
be on the right track with ovulation
typically being on the 14th day right
after her period. I mean, when I first
started my period, it wasn't uncommon for
me to have two periods in one month, then
the next month not to have one at all and
so on. This obviously meant that I didn't
ovulate typically. You just never know
with everyone's body being different.
Either way, here in the next couple of
weeks it would be wise for her to take a
hpt, or even go to the doctor. If she
finds out she is not pregnant, and you
guys are going to continue to be sexually
active, not that I think you should, but
if you are going to do it, you will, then
she needs to get on the pill, bottom line!
Good luck and I hope all works out. Let
us know!

Get a pregnancy test. Simple as that. If
it's positive think about what you want to
do. Just don't sit there talking to us
about it!

Here I Go Again... Posted: 07-25-05 23:59pm
It's not likely that your g/f is 25 days
away from her period, although teenage
women tend to have irregular periods and
can skip periods.
Using a 28-day cycle. On day the day a
woman menstruates, day #1, to day #12 a
woman's body prepares itself to ovulate.
On days #13-14 when a woman ovulates, the
woman is most likely to get pregnant, but
keep in mind that sperm can live up to 7
days in the female reproductive organ!
On days #15-20, if the egg has been
fertilized, the egg will implant itself in
the uteral lining. If the egg has not
been fertilized, on days #21-28, the
lining will shed and the woman will
menstruate.
So you'll have to start counting from the
day your g/f started her period which is
day #1. Count to the day you had sex and
the condom broke. If that day is on or
between #7-14, chances are your g/f could
be pregnant. If not, chances are she
isn't.
Best wishes and please don't buy cheap
condoms, make sure the condom is the right
fit, even if your g/f gets on the pill
always use a condom. Also, try to
convince your g/f to go on the
pill/patch/diaphragm/implant or any other
birth control method. She can get
discounted rates if she goes to planned
parenthood or a government family planning
center.

Sperm can live I think up to 7 days in the
vagina so even if you didn't have sex
while she was ovulating, the sperm could
be in there moving around and ovulation
can come along and boom the egg is
fertilized but even if an egg is
fertilized it has to make its way out of
the ovduct(fallopian tube) and into the
lining of the uterus. If her period
happens before that happens than you are
safe!
Good luck! I'm glad you were trying to be
safe, but condoms like to break all of the
time. Once shes on birth control you
should be pretty safe, but theres never a
100% effective way of birth control
besides! Abstinence!

This is why 14 year olds should not be
having sex.

I agree. I am fixing to have a baby in a
month and I am 20yrs old and I don't even
really know what I am doing. But I have
to say to be 14 you were being pretty
responsible.Although your g/f needs to be
on some type of b/c if you all are going
to continue this you all need to get some
type of advice from a obgyn to be sure
that you all know what your doing and so
you don't have to be in this situation
again. Condoms do break and thats never a
persons fault unless it's old. That is
merrily an accident.
Try not to be so hard on your self. And
really she needs to get on b/c
