I took an at home preg test but I still
feel antsy about it. It was clearly
negative, but just how accurate are they?

they should be very accurate if you
followed all of the instructions for the
test and waited long enough to take it.
If you are unsure, take another to see if
the results are the same, if yes, than I
would definately not worry about it.

Home pregnancy tests are supposed to be
pretty accurate. Since you said you feel
antsy about it, just make an appointment
with your doctor and they can schedule you
for a blood test. These tests are
extremely accurate and can be taken the
first week of conception. They are so
sensitive that when they measure the hcg
levels (pregnancy hormones) in your blood
they can tell you how far along you are!
You may want to do that, or just take a
different hpt. Good luck and I hope you
get the answer you want!
