Advice Needed! (am I Pregnant?)
Posted: 07-21-05 16:54pm

Hello all..

I for the past 3 years have gotten my period regularly.. I get it for 2 days then 1 day off then 2 days again, with extreme cramps for the first 3 days. This always comes between the 19th and the 24th of the month.. Well this month was different. I had sex with my boyfriend on the 5th of the month. We used protection, but used the same condom twice (in the same session, if you want to call it that ). I have read this weakens the condom ? Also it was a non lubricated condom, and for the first few mins was very hard to get comfortable with ( I heard there can be breakage if the condoms not well lubricated and the woman isn't really wet). Well, on the 6th we had sex again the same way, and on the 7th.. Well about 20 minutes after we did on the 7th I got my period. It was a normal flow at first (not heavy by any means) then 2 hrs later it became extremely light. Well on the 8th we didn't want to have sex cause I was on my period (which was still extremly light almost not there) so we decided to do other stuff, in which time he ejaculated on my stomach.. When I washed myself in the shower some of it was going down my body. On the 9th I woke up and my period was completely gone.. And since never returned. During the 2 days it was there I didn't have any cramping at all. Well on the 9th we had sex again because the period was gone.. Plus from past experience if the period goes away (during that 1 day every month it does for me) it comes back once i've reached orgasm.. I know this is very common in women.. But it still didn't come back. My period has never really been irregular except for when I was younger like 12-16 but since I was 17 (i'm 20) it's been pretty much exact cycle same time of the month.. But this month as I said it was very different. The past few days i've had a little swollen breasts, i've been tired like no other for the past week or so (oversleeping, falling asleep at odd times), and the past 2 days i've felt a little nauseaus. I am wondering if it's possible that I may be pregnant? I know using a condom twice makes it less effective, and considering it was his first time having sex (he was a virgin), and him not being circumsized he was having a little trouble figuring out how to put it on correctly. I don't think he pinched the top of the condom like he was suppose to  I don't know ( I didn't watch lol).. Plus, with him ejaculating on my stomach and some of it moving down my body while washing myself some may have came in ? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Reusing condoms is always a bad idea. It weakens the condom and when taking them off and trying to put them back on you risk the chance of tearing them and not always noticing so yes pregnancy could be a factor. All I can really tell you is if you're worried then you should take a hpt and see what happens. If the results are negative and you still don't get your period and are worred head to your doctors and ask for a blood test since they're more accurate.
