Hi, I was wondering if any of you suffer
with a disturbace in taste or smell. I
used to have grand mal fits from the age
of 11 to 15, during that time and to this
day I have smells that give me headaches
and drive me up the wall. I dont get any
big seizures these days ( i'm now 28) but
I get "flashes" when I look at things
like different coloured lines, say on a
shelf with records on it, almost like my
brain can't translate what it's seeing.
Anyway, i'd be interested to know if
anyone here suffers with the same thing.

I have heard of people that have a
smell/taste aura prior to a seizure. The
only experience I have had is since I
developed epilepsy (37 yrs ago) my since
of smell has been almost no existent.
