Hysterectomy And Bleeding????? Posted: 07-22-05 17:20pm
I keep hearing all these woman say, I am
bleeding after hysterectomy. I am 18
years post partial, and not so much as a
drop of blood.
Even hear about a woman who bleeds like a
cycle every month. How can that be??
Most of ya'all prolly didn't have the
extensive problems I had or the cervical
cancer either, but I would bleed all the
time with sex, but quit having my period
at all. They removed very large cyst
covered uterus--they called literally
dead. I had, had all kinds of vaginal
infections from promiscuous husband, and
very severely painfull pid. And I have
never had any problems or pains since
prolly 1 year post surgery. For awhile
my ovaries were still sick, even tried to
remove them once, but intravenous
antibiotics took problems away
finally--nothing at all since
i just don't get it?? Bleeding after!!

Bleeding After Surgery Was Done 4 Months Ago Posted: 08-23-05 21:23pm
:o I know what you are talking about. I
started spotting about 3 months after I
had the surgery. One month later same
thing, bleed for one day and quit. I
return to the dr's for I was freaked out I
thought I would not bleed anymore with the
hysterectomy. One week later, same thing,
I just bleed for the one day. One week
later, I bleed for two days, with this
there was cramping as though I was still
on my period. I am now fighting with my
dr, cause he is telling me that I must
have just a bacteria on the cervix that he
left and that is what is causing me to
bleed. I am a little confused and wonder
why I am still experiencing similar
problems that I did before the surgery was
done. I am a little relieved to know that
someone else out there is having similiar
promblems, although with my research on
the internet, you should not be bleeding.
So please keep me informed about what they
tell you. I know I am not going to take
"there is nothing wrong with you"...
