Angina ? Posted: 07-22-05 17:34pm
Hi ! I'm a 39 year old female , and
yesterday an many other times have had the
dull heaviness right in the center of my
chest , and a tightness in my throat and
jaw , not bad just uncomfortable and just
a little pain in my left arm ..... My
family history is quite strong 5
generations of various heart diease , all
of the woman on my side have had heart
attacks before the age of 50 , I do have
high ldl/hdl , but nothing is being done
about it . The thing is I don't have high
blood pressure . I've noticed lately that
my legs and feet hurt alot at night , I
thought it might just be another ache and
pain from my lupus .... The pain that I
had yesterday only went away when I rested
but as soon as I got up it came back ,
today I still feel it but not that bad ...
I'm wondering if this is angina , my
doctor says i'm too young to suffer from
this, even with my family history .
Thanks for any replies !

I was writing for a long to to reply to
your post and the thing keeps making it
where I cannot post anything
anyway, too young is a lie!!!
I was 41 when full miocardial infarction
airflighted to phoenix--angioplasty with a
stent
had 22 episodes in 5 days, most horrible
pain I ever felt. My whole upper back,
my whole chest. Down both arms to
elbows.
Jaw tightening pains, and I had been
having for 9 years off and on, until the
heart attack, then 22 episodes in 5 days,
two trips to emergency and like I said
airflighted to phoenix heart hospital.
The best hospital in the us
i had this level in my blood higher than
anyone in the cardiac unit, which tells
them how severe or how many heart attacks
I actually had. They were very worried
about me-for I was too young for this.

That would have made me like 32 or 33 when
I first got the signs of heart problems.
Sorry for mis spelling.
Just don't believe the lie " too young is
a lie"
the first thing they asked me did I do
cocaine, yes one time 15 years ago, that
is the most common link they can find to
young pple having heart attacks. But how
do baby's have them and young children??
No set facts in science!! They think they
know it all.
I went to the hospital in 94 and again one
other time for the pains I had, before the
22 episodes and they say I was too young
for it to be my heart. Then during the
22 episodes I went and they found abnormal
heart rythm and still said I was to young
and take more antiacids. Sent me home
my pains were more agrivated with moving,
could not even walk to the bathroom
without causing a new one to come along.
Since my heart attack they happen at night
sometimes when I have to many cigarettes
that day. But never as bad as before.
They come more often now though, since the
angiopalasty(dont know how to spell it)
