Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

I am taking birthcontrol pills to not get pregnant, but a week ago I forgot to take 2-3 pills and had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend. That whole week I was fine till saturday I started getting nausated and having dry heeves, and i'm still having those symptoms.I also have been waking up feeling like my whole chest has been ran over. I also think I have a yeast infection too. That is thick and milky, but isn't really creamy like cottage cheese like I use to have them. I'm 22 i'll be 23 on the 29th of this month. I have no idea if I am pregnant. Does it sound like I could be and should I buy a test and then call my doctor?

I would recommend seeing your doctor. If you are having discharge, you could have an infection....I don't know about being prenant...I'm in the process of trying! Lol

the best thing to do is see a doctor because either way, you will need to make an appointment. If you have forgotten to take your pill for 2-3 days, then it's possible the contraception will have stopped working. Where were you in your cycle...If you are at the end of the month, I wouldn't worry....

I now know how hard it is to get pregnant, temperatures have to be right, you need to be ovulating, there are so many other things that have to be right to conceive. See a doctor and get checked out. I hope you get the answer you want.

Let us know how you get on and good luck.

I agree you should call your Dr. I would buy a test first just to ease your mind. Also especially if you think you have a yeast infection you need to get that cleared up so you dont have any complications for the future when trying to have a baby. Question this is going to sound weird but are your breast more tender than normal and are you peeing more frequently? If so then I strongly say take a test.

Re: Could I Be Pregnant?
I bought a test, i'm going to be talking it monday morning, whether it says negative or positive i'm going to call the doctor anyway. Just in case that the hormone isn't showing up and to find out if i'm not pregnant what is causing my nausea. For the past 2 days they have been getting sore to touch.I know that this morning my mom hardly even touched me with her elbow and I was ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuchh. I'm not really sure if i'm urinating more or not. I really haven't kept track.I know i've been hungry more. It seems like I gotta eat more than usuall just to fill full. Well i'll try and keep you all notified.

Re:
Took a test on sunday night it said neg. Took it on monday morning it was neg. Called the doc office and they said to come in and get one done. So I got one done there it was the same. The lab tech. Said that i'm not pregnant and that if I think I still am pregnant as time goes buy to go there and get another test done. I felt two different feelings that day. Sad because I really felt like okay if I am yes this is going to be hard, and a challenge and I feel i'm kinda ready for it. Then I felt a bit releaved that okay this isn't my time. I really wanted to cry but I didn't want to do that infront of my mother and grandma and the other people who were in the waiting room. Thanks for helping me anyway.

It almost sounded to me more like the flu then you being pregnant. Yeast infections are the worst thing in the world. Good luck with everything
