Q: Advice Please? Too Soon to Test?

Hi everyone

how soon can I test? My lmp was around beginning of july. I am pretty sure it began the 1st of the month. Although not really trying for a baby, we have been a bit careless with contraception and we did have unprotected sex mid july. Anyway, I already have 2 kids so i'd be happy for another. I must admit I have bought several tests and so far they are all negative. I know I am too soon to test but can't help myself!
I have been feeling a few symptoms, cramps, sore, tender breasts, a bit of nausea, can't stop peeing (urine is much stronger) raging hunger and yet the tests are negative. Any advice please? I really enjoy reading everyone elses posts and see I am not the only one, analysing every little symptom!

Thanks!!!!

It is nice to see someone else who is in the same boat as myself. I also have 2 kids already and most definitely was not trying for a 3rd. I have also done several tests with a negative answer...Very frustrating. I have not had cramps just alot of lower abdomen pain when I walk or put any pressure on the area. My breasts have been growing by leaps and bounds and the hunger is unbelievable. I am hoping for the week to pass by quickly so I can test again. Email me and we'll keep eachother updated.

Actually that is what happened to me. I just got married in dec and then in feb I started waking up at 3 and 4 in the morning just to pee then I started getting more and more weird cravings. Needless to say I was on birth control so I new there was no way I could be pregnant so I took a test on feb 1 and it was negative then one week later I took another and sure enough I was pregnant. So in my opinion you sound like you could be pregnant!

Thanks for your replies! I am sooo hungry today. My chest is really tender as well. I hate the waiting.

Is it normal to have symptoms so soon do you think ?

Hi

my boobs have hurt for about a week but yesterday they went from tender to downright painful. I've never experienced such early symptoms. Even my stomach is bloated. It's odd. Even my dh agrees that the boobs are heavier!
Roll on another week so I can test properly!!

Well, I am sure i'm not pregnant.....But am trying to talk my body into being pregnant - if that makes any sense! I have been longing for those words "lets try for a baby" for the past two years and now that those lovely words have been muttered....I want an immediate conception! Lol

i have had slight period type pains, but don't feel hungry, and don't have sore boobs. Can someone shed some light on when your boobs start to ache and when the hunger kicks in? Then I can talk myself into feeling those symptoms too! Lol!!!! I am trying to look at things from the funny side and do realise that these things can take time.

Any information would be great. I have been searching the internet, but I think personal experience from someone on here would be better.

Thanx for your help.

With my first and second, I didn't have sore boobs. This go around I have had the soreness for about 1-1 1/2 weeks. The tenderness has mostly went away and now it is just my nipples that are really sore....Go figure.

I have to say I feel for you all. This is my first pregnancy and my boobs have hurt the whole 7 1/2 months unlike my sister whos boobs never bothered her at all untill she started breast feeding. But now all of a sudden her boobs have been hurting her for about 3 weeks. She dosn't know if she is pregnant either. She has taken 4 preg test and all were neg but still no period. So she is in the same boat as you all.
