I seem to be getting lightheaded everyday.
Sometimes I feal as if im going to pass
out. I never been to any dr cause they
cost to much, i'm not sure if its heart
related or inner ear related. I called
the other day to ask how much it cost to
see a ear dr they want $200 just to say
hello then more if the dr actually does
anything. I thought also it could be
heart :(

I get lightheaded alot. Like I am in a
dream state or feel like am going to pass
out but never do. For me this is related
to stress and anxiety. I have been to
lots of doctors and through alot of tests
and cannot find anything wrong. That why
my lightheaded feeling are anxiety
related. If you haven't been to a
doctor, I would suggest you go at least
once for some kind of check up or
physical. Nobody here is a doctor, we
are discussing symptoms when all other
serious disorders have been ruled out.
We cannot guarantee your that your
symptoms are stress related without been
seen by a doctor. I know it is
expensive, but I am sure your health is
worth the $200. Good luck and keep us
updated.

Holy caca. Poor people. I have been to
my doctor about 5 times in the last 2
months and it costs nothing in england.
How awful to have to pay to see a
doctor.........America is mad. The only
industrialised nation on earth to not
offer free medical care.

I have had that when my blood pressure is
either too high or too low, I get it when
my sugar is too low, and the one I had the
other day was from my inner ear--it was
horrible so bad I almost vomited--it made
me so dizzy.
But I am sure it could be a number of
things, try and find a low cost clinic--
i know I ahve the same problem right now,
no insurance and "not enough month at the
end of the money" lol

Lightheaded Everyday Posted: 08-21-05 11:14am
Hi, I am new to the forum. And yes,
lighthead, dizziness, and a strange
felling in my head. I feb, I went to my
doctor concerning this. Ran blood found
nothing. It went away. Now it's
back-more blood and yesterday I took a mri
of my brain. I am wondering if I need
more rest, stress, I don't know..But I
feel that the tests aren't going to show
anything. Just have to wait and
see....Kymber

I have that to. I don't have it all the
time though it comes and goes. I'm
pretty sure it's stress. I also feel
like i'm going to be sick with it. It
makes me feel like i'm losing my mind.
I have a hard time thinking clearly and
the thoughts I do have aren't very good at
all. All I can do when this happens is
hide in my bedroom and cry and hope it
goes away soon before I really act on my
thoughts

Hi there! Check with welfare in your
area or like she said, a low cost clinic.
I have insurance and one of my meds cost
that much, it could be a lot of things,
anxiety, b/p inner ear, getting up too
fast, like the poster said above, we are
not drs but your health is important, drs
are good at writing out prescriptions and
they are generally not cheap.
Good luck! Keep us posted when you find
out anything.

I've been scared too. I had a death in
the family back in feb., my grandma who I
used to take care of. She died in my
arms and a couple of months later, I
developed symptoms that led me to the er,
diagnosing me with an anxiety/panic
attack. I've gone through a lot,
different doctors and what have you. I
started feeling much better after every
doctor told me it was stress related
anxiety. About a month ago, I started
getting lightheaded, not like when I was
getting my anxiety attacks, but kinda like
the room was spinning. I went to the
doctor and told me I have a little fluid
in both my ears. He gave me viracid and
didn't help much. I feel better,
sometimes have that feeling, but not as
much. It's been about a week I have been
having the numbing feeling around my
cheek, forehead, lips, side of my nose and
yesterday and today my tongue has a funny
feeling, like it's going numb on and off.
It's really scary. I had a ct scan of
the brain about 4 months ago...Everything
normal. Do I need an mri. I am so
scared!!! I have some stress, and I
don't want to start going to see the
doctors again, they are gonna think i'm
nuts. Has anyone had these feelings
before. It feels like when you get a
lidocaine shot at the dentist and it's
wearing off, and also the aftermath of
when someone smacks you in the face. You
kinda have to move your face around.
Someone please help, I don't want to have
another attack after such a long time.
Help!!!

Its so wierd you should mention this. As
of late I have been getting light headed.
Especially when I work out or do the
treadmail. I have to sit down for like 5
mins in between sets. It never used to be
like that. Hmmmm wierd how that is.
