I took a home pregnancy test last week and it came out positive. I know there is great chance of me being pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for a while and finally got results I wanted. Just to confirm I went to my doctor and I did blood test and still waiting for results. Is it possible to have a positive test and not be pregnant? What are the chances? I am not on any medication, if that helps! Thanks for your help and advice.... Sabrina

I just got the results of my blood test..Negative...But two positive urine tests. Anyone have any idea what this means?

That happened to me before too. I took a hpt and the first one i'm sure it was a faint positive, however I feared I did it wrong and took another one which came out negative so I didn't really know which one to believe. Although I got my period like a week later so it turned out I wasn't pg, so I suppose false positives are possible just not common, although i've never heard of a blood test being wrong. Are you late for you period? If not wait until you miss it and if it doesn't show up in like a week or so test again, sorry don't know what else to tell you. Good luck.

I have never heard of that before. I always heard that there was no such thing as a false positive. Keep us updated I am curious as to why that happened.

Could have possibly been a chemical pregnancy (very very early miscarriage)
