O.K., i've read the forums, and my current beau used to work in the hospitals and said he's seen it. Now, i'm scared. I have one ovary and one fallopian tube left.

He jokes with me all the time about me being pregnant, and lately I have been feeling not so hot...

What do you guys think the chances are???

Or should I not worry? It has, of course, been four years. Nothing's happened thus far, why would it happen now - with him?

I also heard that the cervix can rebuild itself. But don't you have to have some cervix left for this to happen? Like, say if you had a biopsy? Then it would grow back over time. Not if the whole thing was ripped out of you, right?

If you must know, i'm 28. Hysterectomy was given, "by accident."

You cannot get pregnant without a uterus.

I've never heard of anyone getting pregnant after a hysterectomy, I really don't see how it could be possible. Maybe you should make an appt with your doc.

Didn't Think So
I don't think so either. Not unless it's a true will of god...
I do still go through the symptoms of my period. The bloating, hungriness, tender breasts, etc.
I'm really not trying to have any more children anyway; but sometimes I get nervous when I read actual accounts of things like that.

No!
Oh, geez no! If I were bleeding, I would not be questioning anything. My butt would be down at the doctor's before the doctor even arrived!

I only still get the symptoms, not the actual period.

It is sooo possible to conceive after hysterectomy. I have been researching lately for ectopic pregnancy--since my daughter in law is preg in the uterus and outside the uterus at the same time. (ectopic preg.) they originally only seen the out of uterus pregnancy and thought it was in the tube. They gave her medicaine to stop the fetal growth and then said oohh my bad, baby in the uterus too. Now, we dont know if either fetus is alive and waiting til 8-1 for new u/s.
Anyway the drs automatically expell or stop the growth if it is out of uterus, but I have seen 3 cases since researching , of abdominal pregnancy where they brought out perfectly healthy baby from womans abdomen. It is a very dangerous situation to be preg outside of uterus, I guess that is why they expell them, but lets let god be god and we would hear of many more of these instances. I dont see why they can't just let the baby be, and just monitor the mother better!!!
The thing with the opening(of vagina, cervix or no cervix) is it has to have a hole in it, which is not normal. But how small would the hole have to be?? Sperms are really small, and im sure they know where they are going. I heard of a woman who worked at kern medical center (nurse)in bakersfield california and she had what they thought was a tumer and they went in to remove tumer and found healthy baby full term, after hysterectomy. I mean I talked to the guys who knew her, who worked with her. Like your boyfriend says it does happen.
Here is a link for one I found on the internet lately

http://content.Nejm.Org/cgi/content/extrac t/349/16/1534

just copy and paste into browser. I have others of the abdominal pregnancy if you would like them too.

I have always had ovulation pain, 5 days every cycle.

This month my husband and I were doing much make up sex. I started ovulating on the 8th, started having sex on the 9th----19th. On the 12th right after ovulation pains stopped I started getting different pains in ovaries. I have had breast pains, tired all the time, food taste funny, sharp debilitating pains with lightheadedness and sick stomach after, in both ovaries. Pains in my back right where ovary pains are in the front, my private area is swollen up, headaches, I even had really bad pains after orgasm on the 19th, havent had any sex since due to that reason.

It even seems like his "little guys" dint come out after sexual intercourse, maybe 2 times out of the 16-- 18 times we made love. Could there be a hole in my "tube sock"????

God said to me 18 yrs ago "a miracle baby", I have always believed I could and would carry it, although god did not say how, he just said "a miralce baby". Remember there are '"no set facts in science"', and I have been researching to find where this has happened, but dr's choose to end the pregnancy. That is unless they don't find it in time. I know of 3 cases where woman have delivered healthy baby from abdomen.

I know I am not sick--for I had my share of sickness in my female organs 18 yrs ago, and severe pains in my abdomen. I had pid, vaginitis, urethitis, trich, cysts all over my female organs, even fusion of my reproductive organs with the c-sections scars from my last child 19 years ago. Anyone know of pregnancy after hysterectomy, good stories only please
i have 2 ovaries and 1 tube, which by the way is tied.

Anything please

You have 1 overie left correct?

You can get pregnant, you have to have 1 overie or both of them to become pregnant so I don't see why not.

more proof of it actually happeneing and can happen again. Apart from the fact that god can do whatever he wants everyday. He is the one who said "a miracle baby"

Joanna, if the one tube you have left is tied, how did a sperm get to your egg to make you pregnant????? Are you telling us that this is an immaculate conception? And please stop using the saying " in the name of jesus"... I find it very offensive... Nobody, other than ministers and such, have the right to say anything in the name of jesus.
