I am working in the industrial invironment. Every day I get exposed to weilding fumes, smoke, loud noise. I am so paranoid that somehow it's going to affect my future baby's health. will somebody tell me if there is any danger for me to stay in this kind of invironment if I am 9 weeks pregnant. Crying or Very sad

This is something you should discuss with your doctor and if you continue to work. Perhaps he can give you some ideas to protect your health as well as your babies. Id wear a mask around fumes and gloves if I came in contact with chemicals till I could get to him and find out for sure... hugs and good luck..

No, chemicals and fumes are not safe for your child. But this is definetly something you should discuss with your dr.

By welding fumes I assume you mean smoke, etc released from steel when it's heated? It really depends on the type of metal, the ventillation, and how close you are to the fumes. Til you can talk to your doctor, take a couple vacation days from work because it is rediculous to expose your baby to this stuff. If you're talking about a construction site or something where ur only around the fumes for a total of a few minutes day, that's completely different, so try to explain in more detail the environment you're talking about.
