Hi, newbie here :-) i'm sure this has been asked before but instead of searching and feeling like a lurker I wish to just be blunt and ask. Be gentle :-)

i'm on birth control, never miss it, pretty healthy. Always used condoms when in relationships. Never been in a serious relationship where I can grasp an orgasim......Ever.......Until now.

My bf and I started out with condoms latex as poly have a curse of breaking on me (i was not always on bc so condoms were a 100% must) with the latex we have tried durex, lifestyles, trojan, you name it....He loses himself or I dry up.......Even with lubrications. Eventually teasing got to us playing without a condom and last night was our first adventure (remember the grasping the orgasm with a man first time ever) ok....He did pull out.

My typical question would be: on the pill, how safe am I if we use the pull out method? Pre-cum chances of impregnating me? Basically fill me in here. I am on the ortho try cyclin (spelling I think?)

or other options to try as poly does not work and latex makes me rough, raw, itch, and cranky...

I thank you all for your response.

Extremely eHealthy
As long as your on birth control and are very careful about taking it (and not taking other medications while on it ) id say your pretty safe. Birth control and a condom are your best bet, but if you religiously take your birth control and are careful about what other medications you are on while sexually active id say you are alright, as long as you remember that the pill doesnt protect you from stds.

Thank you for the quick reply.

The only other meds I am on have no affect per my dr (asthma meds/migraine pill) I do know that if I get sick and get antibiotics to not have unprotected sex as it downgrades the effectiveness of the bc pill (my guy friend got his girl pregnant not knowing this and she knew and tricked him basically)

as soon as I posted this the bf walked in and saw the word pregnancy and was like do you think you are? No don't say that word around me lol

i just want to be safe but enjoy myself as well.
