Hi i got blood glucose test results.. Fasting 152 ( is this really high) are there lots of causes for this high result, or are the results limited to diabetes? What are the other possibilites? Thanks dave

That is hi, but not extremely hi, they might send you for another fasting blood screen to conclude the diagnosis. It is suppose to be 99 or under on fasting blood screen. If I remember correctly. I dont know for sure but my home blood work comes out in the 400 up to 500 something, but I am uncommon in the fact at 400 something is almost coma state. (rush to hospital to bring it down) they never did that to me. With my mom they did. Then she got insulin shock and lost her sight for a week.
