2 Topics: Phone Calls And Performance Anxiety

Ok need some assistance here.

My bf and I don't live together yet and probably won't for awhile due to me not wanting to hand over my now paid off car payments to rent lol as well not sure if i'm sticking with my job or moving on and that can cause some problems. I want stability however he travels almost every other week only a 1.5-2hr drive in any direction and if he is there fri-sun I go out and stay with him however the other days like now wed-sat this week (he comes back saturday so no real reason for me to drive all the way late friday) so from wed-sat we would talk on the phone normal call around 11:30 I call up the hotel all the people know me so they fill me in, let me know how he is etc.

He is always playing a video game or kinda just blah....He says he hates talking on the phone yet I don't think 30 minutes is too much to ask. After the normal how was your day, whats going on tommorow plans and any other subject we like to catch up on daily he is like ok baby let me let you go (video game wins lol)

is this normal????? I know exes that would talk for 6+hrs if I really wanted to. Last week when I was out of town and he was home one night our conversation was almost 2hrs he just kept talking and it was wonderful.

Am I expecting too much?
