Head to Neck to Ears. Help Posted: 11-21-03 08:56am
I have been
getting for the past 8 months this really
intense headache that starts in between
my eyes and goes down to my neck and into
my ears. The pain really hurts and
normal tylenol does not help. Sometimes
when it goes into my ears I have a hard
time hearing people. What should I do and
is it something I should get looked at by
my doctor.

I would definately see your doctor because
you can never be too sure. It kind of
sounds like a migraine, but kind of like a
tension headache. I dunno. When I get
tension headaches (brought on by stress,
but a result of a car accident) the nerves
right behind my ears hurt really badly.
But, if it is causing you loss of hearing
while it is occuring, I would see a
doctor.
P.S if it is a tension headache and you do
not get a prescription. I found that the
only over the counter thing that helps me
is if I take 800mg ibuprofen.

The symptoms you have expressed do appear
like to be that of either simple migraine
or on further investigation would reveal
something like meniere's disease.
Homeopathy has a good remedy to relieve
the symptoms you have expressed and also
see that similar episodes do not occur
again. More details would be needed for
a proper diagnosis / prescription.
