I know this isn't the right place to post this, but there is no child care topic anywheres.

Anyhow, can anyone tell me the signs that a two year old is being molested?..Take into mind that he isn't talking much yet, and can't say for himself either way.

My sister has a live in male nanny, who is in his late 50's, and is gay. For the last little bit, her son has been acting very strange when she changes him...Ie..He is putting her hand on his penis, crying when she wash's him. He has also had sore marks on his testicles and penis too.

And the nanny seems a little shady to me. And he is starting to creep out my sister too.
She hasn't installed a nanny cam yet.
And you can't just fire a person without "just cause"..So she has to catch him in the act. She could let him go..But she would have to give him 2 months notice...And if he is doing something..That is a long time for her 2 year old, and newborn daughter to go being molested.

And if he is doing sometime to her kids...He's better off killing himself..Before her husband gets a hold of him.

Any thoughts or ideas would be a great help..Thanks!!

Fire Him Now!
Is your sister seriously out of her mind? She has to "catch him in the act" before she fires him?

I can understand if someone is stealing money and you want to "catch him in the act" stealing. That would be ok, but in this case, the "act" is something you cannot allow your child to go through.

I would say if she has the slightest suspicion about the nanny, fire him immediately. Tell her to find an older female nanny....

I think so too. Her and her husband are hiring a private investigator..And went to see a lawyer..In the mean time..I am looking after the babies...So we can all breathe a sign of relief.

I thought the babysitter was a little odd from the first time I met him..But their son loved him...Now he cries everytime you leave the room and he's alone with the nanny.

So something must be going on.

Oh Hell Nah
Im sorry but when it comes to your child any instict you have you should go for. Put in mind he is not able to talk and stand up for him self so you would have to. Theres no such thing as "catch him in the act" and "nanny cam" or "2months notice" your just putting your child in even more danger and not having his well being in mind fire hiss a** and soon. Im pretty sure if he is doing this he will not take you to court for unjustly fireing him last thing he needs is an investigation. Trust your instincts nad nipp it in the bud now before you'll be sharing the guilt for not stopping it sooner please. Poor baby.

If your sister even suspects that there is an issue with the nanny she needs to fire him and go to the police. Who knows how many other kids he may have hurt. My siblings and I were molested by a baby sitter when we were children and it has affected the whole family. Some of my siblings even went on to molest and in one case rape others. I know because I was a victim until I was 16 and lived every day in a hell. I still deal with the shame and humilation on a daily basis and it has even had an effect on my marriage. Your sisters child is two and if she is lucky he won't remember 10 years from now. She doesn't need a reason to fire this guy-your sister should go immediately to the er and have a doctor do a full exam on her child. Then report her findings to the police!

My cousin was molested by her babysitter for months when she was a little girl. But they finally figured it out and fired the babysitter and charged him I think. Actually no, it was the son of the babysitter that was molesting her...I don't remember what happened but they charged the guy I think.

If it were my niece, this guy would already be missing his man hood. It would be buried in the backyard and then I would of beat the holy hell out of him, and this for just thinking he could of hurt my baby. If he actually did.. Yeah. He would be done. I know this is bad and I have nothing against homosexuals usually but I would never of hired a gay man to be the nanny of my little boy. I mean I know it could be anyone who molests a child but it seems a little more risky to have this man.

Well not that i'm supporting this but what about male nannies with baby girls? Or female nannies with boys? It's all the same. Ur putting ur trust into someone to care for ur child. But I know if I even though someone was hurting my baby, they'd be gone so fast.

I was molested by my moms boyfriend from the age 4-12. I was always really quiet and I never said anything. I got scared of my moms boyfriend and I didnt want him to pick me up and I didnt want to go anywhere with him, I would always cry. Even before my mom would leave to go to work, id cr because I didnt want to be alone with him. Finally when I was 12 I was sick of it, I had said somethin to my bfs mom. I freaked out on my moms ex, victor, and told him that if he ever touched me again I was going to kill him and I had a knife in my hand and I tried to stab him and I almost shot him with a gun. I hated him.Hed even whistle at me and grab my ass....I told my mom that he touched me and she slapped me and told me never to say anything like that again. Victors youngest son, aaron even did when I was younger. I hate them both. I am so happy that we moved away.Even when I went to the doctor, he was a guy...I started screaming once and crying cuz I was scared..Men scared me for the longest time and I looked at the as if there were all perverts.
