Really Grose Periods
Posted: 07-31-05 09:03am

Ok everyone..This is sick..I'll pre-warn you.

My baby is almost 4 months old. I didn't get a period until he was just about 3 months. I guess it was like 10 or 11 weeks or something. Anyways..That one was grose..I bled super heavy for 2 weeks straight. Like I did after I gave birth. I thought I was dying. The doctor said that was normal. I went back on the pill to try and calm it down a bit. She put me on a different kind. I was on ortho tricyclen, and she put me on aleese. So 2 days after I start aleese, I start spotting, and this continues until I have enough and say, "f*ck it"...

Constantly wearing a tampon or pad isn't for me. So I stopped it before the pill pack was done, and of course I know it will cause my period to come...And right now I am bleeding like a mother f8cker. Using a super plus tampon every 2 hours or something.

My period before my baby were like colock work, and only lasted 3 days, using only a slender to regular flow tampon for the entire thing.

When is my body going to get back to normal?...This is sick, and I am so sick of looking at blood....And I really would like to have sex sometime in the next 30 years with my husband.

You'll bleed for a good month or 2. I know it sucks, but your body is going from a huge change, its trying to go back to normal, so your passing out everything you don't need from labor.

Plus I hate to say it anc can take up to a year for your period to get back to completly normal. I know it sucks.

 yeah I know what this feels like. My son is a 1 yr old and my body can't seem to get back into the swing of things. That's even going on the pill and having a dnc. Mine are horrible and long and heavy.
