Back Pain And Related Pain When Swallowing? Posted: 07-31-05 14:28pm


Ok, I woke up yesterday morning with a very sore neck and pain between my shoulder blades. It hurt to look up, down, left or right and my neck range of motion was very limited. But what worried me the most was that when I swallowed whole food, I got a pain as the food passed where the pain was. My throat wasn't hurting, just a quick jolt of pain as I swallowed, right between my shoulder blades. Today, that pain is a lot less and my range of motion is way better. My neck still hurts when I look up. But that pain when swallowed food is still there. I have no pain when drinking, just swallowing. Any help, suggestions, links, etc. Would be appreciated. Hate to go to the doctor sounding like a crybaby for back pain but it seems odd to have it associated with swallowing.

I have the same symptoms of this post and nobody seems to know what's wrong... My Chiropractor is sending me for X-rays today... Does anyone have any ideas of what is causing this???
