i has sex with my boyfriend about a week
ago. I have been on the pill for about 3
years now. The other night the condom
broke as soon as he ejaculated and ever
since I have been freaking out about
pregnancy. I know the pill has a high
success rate but I am still so afraid.
The night we had sex was about two days
after my period had ended so I had just
started taking my pills again. I was
hoping that people would have some
comments or advice. Please!!!

As long as you have been faithful in
taking your pill everyday at the same
time, I wouldn't have any worries.
However, missing a pill or taking on late,
could increase your chances of being
pregnant, but all in all I would say you
are fine.

appreciate it I guess I am just really
worried. I think I am still going to take
a test in a couple of weeks just to make
sure

What does taking on late mean??? Do you
mean if you take your pill late like at a
different time of the day...You can get
pregnant easier? Just asking...I really
don't know much about that part of it...

I know that if you take your pill late or
miss it completly that you should take it
as soon as you remember and then use a
backup mathod of birth control if you are
gonig to have sex

usually you are supposed to take your pill
at the same time everyday, however, there
is a 6 hour window. For example, if you
take your pill at 8:00 a.M., then you
actually have until 2:00 that afternoon to
still be considered "ok", but like the
experts say, taking it at the same time
everyday, the results are typically
better.
